18mm Master Cylinder Sight Glass. This transparent reservoir inspection window allows the brake-fluid level to be viewed while sealing the matching sight-glass opening.
It does not generate hydraulic pressure or control reservoir fluid compensation; the listed dimension is the nominal sight-glass size, not the master-cylinder bore size.
