Spin On Oil Filter Wrench. This oil-filter wrench grips and turns a compatible spin-on filter canister during oil service. It is not used on a loose cartridge filter element; cartridge systems require the correct housing-cap tool.
Use it where the wrench cup, strap, or profile matches the spin-on filter canister and there is enough working clearance.
